Throughout the year, Laurence and Xavier implement numerous initiatives to allow travelers to fully enjoy a protected and preserved natural environment. Their priority is to maintain this little corner of paradise in the heart of the Cévennes National Park. Committed to sustainable tourism, we have also joined La Via Natura, a network of professionals who share the same values of ecotourism, respect for the environment, and authenticity. During your stay at Camping Les Drouilhèdes, we will be happy to answer all your questions about slow tourism, our eco-responsible practices, best practices, and much more. The values of ecotourism are central to our commitment and those we wish to share with our guests.
Our engagement La Via Natura
Keen to preserve the exceptional environment that surrounds us, Camping Les Drouilhèdes has joined the La Via Natura network. This membership reflects our commitment to responsible tourism that respects nature, the land, and its inhabitants. We share with Via Natura values of authenticity, slow tourism, and the protection of natural heritage.
Eco-responsibility
Every day, we implement various small actions to respect and preserve our little corner of paradise at the gateway to the Ardèche, in the heart of the Cévennes National Park. We are currently equipping the entire campsite with LED bulbs and more environmentally friendly equipment. Recycling is possible thanks to the bins available to everyone at the campsite exit, as well as a compost bin. We encourage you to also be active participants, environmentally conscious citizens.

Animals play an important role at Camping Les Drouilhèdes. Two sheep and an alpaca graze on the campsite when it's not open to campers. You can see them in the high season in the various pastures reserved for them. Our campsite is also an LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) refuge. Several nesting boxes, bird feeders, and an insect hotel are therefore available at our campsite near the Ardèche.

All the actions that we carry out, as well as our campers, allow us to continue to preserve this little corner of paradise, in the heart of the Cévennes National Park. This park is also an International Dark Sky Reserve. Every evening, you will enjoy stargazing from your private terrace or the beach.
